Ignatian Adventure – Group Format Offered Virtually

We welcome you to join us this fall for an Ignatian Adventure!

This retreat (offered virtually) is an adaptation of The Spiritual Exercises, The Ignatian Adventure by Kevin O’Brien, SJ. 

In this book, O’Brien follows St. Ignatius’ lead and offers today’s time-strapped individual a unique way of “making” the Spiritual Exercises in daily life. The book offers 32 weeks of prayer and meditations following the ‘exercises’ to draw participants into a deeper encounter with God.

We will meet twice monthly to consider together how we are being met by God in this journey with Jesus and explore the enduring Ignatian principles that enable us to say “yes” to these holy invitations, “yes” to imagination, wonder, and freedom.

• Retreat duration: September 8, 2025 – May 11, 2026
• Meeting rhythm: 2nd and 4th Mondays, each month
• Meeting times:  10:00 am – 11:00 am

Considerations for this Commitment:

• Purchase the book “The Ignatian Adventure” (easily found on online)
• Group Zoom meetings, twice monthly
• Daily (5-7 days per week) reading and prayer (30 minutes per day for the 32 weeks): individual prayer, meditation, and journaling
• Discern if you are comfortable talking (confidentially) about your interior life within a small group setting
• You will need a reliable, private space for your daily 30 minutes of prayer per day
